EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) is about the stimulation of the body with low frequency electric impulse during fitness training. It amplifies voluntary muscle contraction with the application of an exterior electric impulse. We are a partner of XBody the world's leading supplier of EMS technology.
Yes! As long as you have none of the contraindications which will be detailed to you by your professional fitness trainer, it is perfectly safe as our muscles normally contract through electric impulses generated by our Central Nervous System. That said, just like any form of extreme training, remember to stay well hydrated before, during and after training!
We want to change your view on fitness training by showing you that you don't need to spend hours in the gym to achieve your goals. Our technique is ideally suited to the time-poor and those that may have injuries or joints that won't stand up to traditional training methods. EMS has been used by both super-athletes and the elderly to improve their well being.
All FasTrak sessions other than VIP will consist of either Muscle Development or Endurance followed by a Relax session
Muscle Development is configured for muscle building training. The training program consists of a series of repetitions that focus on particular muscle groups. There are approximately ten of these individual exercises within your twenty minute session.
Endurance is designed for endurance and weight loss training with repetitions focused on cardio exercises.
The Relax program is five minutes at the end of your training program where electrical stimuli helps you unwind from the intensity of the session.
Muscle groups trained include: Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Glutes, Abs, Lower Back, Back, Trapezius, Pectoral, Arms, Shoulders and Calves.
Each participant will have the programming of their suit tailored to their individual needs ensuring that the training is matched to their level of fitness.
Only two (2) sessions can be taken per week in order for your body to absorb the training
It's recommended that you avoid any strenuous activity in the day after training.
You will need to either purchase or rent training underwear to be used during the XBody session.
Everyone would like to get back to their ’normal life’ as soon as possible post-COVID-19 lockdown however it's also necessary to have appropriate procedures in place to ensure the safety of you and our staff while you undertake an EMS session.
With the help of EMS fitness training, muscle fibers are mobilised causing a larger number of muscle fibers to be contracted
Through the use of special settings including pulse width – deep muscle fibers are stimulated to achieve peak fitness
By using cardio and strength fitness program we achieve a higher calorie burning effect
Calories are burnt in significant amount only when most of the body is involved in physical exercise. During WB-EMS in our gym several muscle groups, the heart and the respiratory system are all engaged at once
Thanks to increased local blood circulation promoted by an EMS session skin could be firmer, as it smooths the subcutaneous tissues and removes harmful metabolites, thus helping to fight against cellulite
The pulling effect ensuing from the work of muscles and affecting the bones through the sinews guarantees the strengthening of the bones in our EMS session
HGH is a substance which benefits the metabolism and increases the bone density and body mass
The muscles beside the spine can be strengthened and pain due to weak stabilising muscles can be eliminated with our fitness training
We can eliminate muscle imbalances by using special EMS settings - pulse width, intensity - and the electric impulses can make the deeper stabilising muscles work as well providing added benefits
Helps with fitness rehabilitation when injuries prevent other types of workouts by maintaining muscle tone
With targeted muscle-volume fitness training, the strain on joints from training done with weights disappears
By using cardio and strength fitness program you achieve a higher metabolism in our gym
